Did ancient Moroccans use edible flowers in their cuisine?

I've heard that in some cuisines, edible flowers are used in cooking. Were there any traditional Moroccan dishes that used flowers, either for flavor, decoration, or medicinal purposes?

Yes! Orange blossom and rose petals were often used in desserts like sfouf and sweet couscous.
