Every time I make couscous, it ends up clumping together instead of being light and fluffy. How can I avoid this?

Make sure to fluff the couscous with a fork immediately after steaming and before serving. You can also drizzle a bit of olive oil and gently toss it to separate the grains

After steaming, spread the couscous out on a tray and let it cool slightly before fluffing. This allows the grains to separate better and prevents clumping.

One trick is to use a couscoussier for proper steaming and to fluff the couscous in stages as it cooks, adding small amounts of water each time to keep it light.
