My couscous often turns out dry or clumpy. What’s the best technique to make it fluffy like the one I’ve had in restaurants?

Try steaming the couscous instead of just soaking it. Steam it over simmering water for 15-20 minutes, fluff it with a fork, then steam again. This method gives it a light, fluffy texture.

Make sure you don’t add too much water at once. Add just enough to moisten it, then fluff with a fork between steamings. A little olive oil or butter helps too!

To get fluffy couscous, you should steam it twice. After the first steam, fluff it with a fork, let it cool, and steam it again. This makes all the difference!
