How do I keep couscous from clumping?

Whenever I make couscous, it ends up clumping together. What can I do to keep the grains light and fluffy?

The key is to steam the couscous multiple times. After the first steaming, fluff it with a fork and add a little butter or olive oil to keep the grains separate.
