A nonstick skillet or cast-iron pan works best for making msemen. Make sure it’s well-heated before adding the dough to get that perfect golden-brown finish.

For msemen, a heavy-bottomed nonstick or cast-iron pan is ideal. It evenly distributes heat and gives you a nice crispy exterior while keeping the inside soft.

A flat, heavy skillet, preferably cast iron, works great for msemen. The key is to cook it on medium heat so it browns evenly without burning.
