I’m trying to make Moroccan msemen at home but don’t have a traditional pan. Do I need special equipment, or will a regular frying pan work?

A regular non-stick frying pan will work just fine for making msemen. The important thing is to keep the heat at medium to cook it evenly without burning.

You don’t need a special pan, but using a cast-iron skillet can help create a more authentic texture. It distributes heat evenly and adds a nice crispness to the msemen.

Any heavy-bottomed frying pan will do. Just make sure to use enough oil to keep the msemen from sticking, and flip them carefully to ensure even cooking.
