I’ve heard of both Moroccan mint tea and Touareg tea, but I’m not sure what sets them apart. Are they the same thing, or is there a difference?

Moroccan mint tea and Touareg tea are very similar. Both are made with green tea and fresh mint, but Touareg tea is often more associated with desert cultures and can be stronger.

The main difference is regional. Touareg tea is commonly drunk by desert nomads and tends to be stronger, while Moroccan mint tea is slightly milder with more mint.

Touareg tea refers to the stronger mint tea served by the nomads of the Sahara, while Moroccan mint tea is usually lighter and sweeter, served all over Morocco.
